Privacy policy

This policy covers the Orraveld game for Android and this website. Orraveld is made by an independent developer, reachable at support@orraveld.com.

What the game collects

• An account. The game makes an account for you the first time it goes online, so your progress survives a new phone. It holds an account number, plus one of these to recognise you: your Google Play Games player ID if you sign in to Play Games, or else your phone's Android ID for this app. The game also sends your phone's model name.
• Your progress. A copy of your save: runes, stages, currencies, settings and play statistics.
• Your purchases. For each purchase on Google Play: the product, the order details and the purchase token Google gives the game, so the purchase can be checked and restored.

The game does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or messages. It shows no adverts and has no analytics or tracking tools. This website uses no cookies and no trackers.

Why

• To keep your progress and purchases when you change or reset your phone.
• To check with Google that a purchase is real before it counts on your account.
• To answer you when you write to support.

None of it is sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile of you.

Who stores it

• Microsoft PlayFab stores your account, your save and your purchase records for the game. Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Google runs Play Games sign-in and takes your payments. The game never sees your card or bank details. Google's privacy policy.

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

How long it is kept

Your account and save stay until you ask to delete them. Deletion takes up to 30 days. Emails to support are kept up to 90 days after the matter closes. Google keeps its own record of your payments under its own policy.

Your choices

• Delete your account: follow these steps.
• Get a copy of what the account holds, or correct it: write to support@orraveld.com.
• Stay off Play Games: the game still works, and recognises your account by the phone's Android ID instead.

Children

Orraveld is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you learn that a child under 13 has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
